B. Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate program focused on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery as mentioned in the National Health Policy 2002. The program is streamlined to enable students to address the health needs of the nation, society and individuals. The program prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal, social and professional responsibilities. B. Sc. Nursing program involves classroom study, projects and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge of their learning

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

Pass with 45% aggregate marksin 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or equivalent. Relaxation to reserved category students as per State Govt. norms.

(5% relaxation to the students of North East states including Sikkim/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Admission Criteria

Based on Merit in qualifying examination. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per State Government norms.
